No registration required for 7/3, 7/17, and 7/31 as we will be in the large, Community Room.

Message from our Children’s Librarian On-line registration has started for the times our popular Rhythm, Rhyme, and Story Time with Miss Caroline will be held in the smaller Children's Library Room (for Thursday 7/10 only). Registration for this one date will begin the Monday before the event, on 7/7. NO REGISTRATION is needed for when Story Time will be hosted in the large, Community Room (7/3, 7/17, and 7/31). ** No Story Time on 7/24 ** Please go to www.dillonlibrary.org to register for each of your children attending as space is limited. You do not need to register for yourself (as the parent or caregiver / adult attending). __________________________________ Our Summer Reading Program has begun! It's going to be all about COLOR this summer. Our Kid's & Teen Summer Reading Programs are designed for readers aged 5-17 to help encourage life-long reading habits. As your reader has adventures reading this summer, they can earn points, get badges, and receive a completion certificate to print and share. Badges can be turned into raffle tickets for one of our great prizes this summer! Stop by our library to pick up your registration packet or log onto our on-line Readsquared Summer Reading Program to begin logging in your reading: _________________________ High Schoolers: Pick up your Summer Reading books early - don't forget our digital formats too! _______________________ Tumblebooks have been added to our kids page, as well as to the Research Databases page under Young Readers, E-books, and Books and Literature. TumbleBooks are Story Books – Chapter Books/Read-Alongs – Non Fiction stories, plus Language Learning videos, puzzles & games created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music, and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, have your child read, or have it read to them.
