October at the Library It may still feel like summer outside, but inside the library we’re welcoming the season with all the best parts of fall—good books, cozy programs, and a big event to look forward to! We’re especially excited to host Sarah Penner on November 6 for Largo Turns a Page and discuss her newest novel, The Amalfi Curse. Registration is open now, and our Chapter Chat book club will keep the conversation going with their discussion on November 12. In October, you’ll find plenty of ways to celebrate the season: learn about pollinators, bring the kids for a festive (and air conditioned!) trick-or-treat, or invite the teens in your life to try our new Silent Book Club, a relaxed hangout just for them. Even if the weather hasn’t cooled down yet, the library is the perfect spot to enjoy a touch of fall this month.
