Presented by Bob West Tuesday, June 25 The youngest of seven, "young Fred" as he was called by his family, appeared to have just disappeared. However some members of his family always believed he had lived and would, at some point, be found. The pursuit of genealogy after 100 (plus) years gave his family the answer and peace they sought that young Fred had indeed survived and lived a long life. Join us on June 25 and learn from Robert West the story of two people very much in love during an era when society was less understanding and not forgiving toward indiscretion. You'll likely also learn or be reminded of key techniques and approaches that can assist you in searching for your relatives - long-lost or just unknown!

About Robert 'Bob' West Robert West became interested in genealogy decades back when he and his wife took a trip to England and looked for genealogy records in their original locale. They found all sorts of information about her family but repeatedly came up short about his. Some while after their return, letters exchanged with a relative uncovered a key to 'the rest of the story.' Robert is retired from a career in jewelry manufacturing. In recent years he and his daughter have enjoyed exploring more of the family story .
