Yes, we are meeting on Tuesday as usual. I am SO looking forward to seeing you all again. The Family History Interest Group (FHIG) at Bernards Township Library aims to inform, inspire and encourage you as you seek ways to learn about the lives and relationships of past family members. This newsletter is the very best place to find information about upcoming and past FHIG meetings, news and notes about related topics, and ideas, tips and suggestions for your own successful genealogy searches. -- Ruth

Tuesday, April 23 Are you in need of help and direction to see where your family history research should go next? Join your friends at FHIG for a recap of possibilities and see if you can't find your way to a new start. Are you totally content with where you are at, family history wise? Come and share your wisdom and expertise with others. Wherever, whatever, whoever - please just come and join in! Additionally we'll be reviewing possible FHIG discussion topics and looking to fill in the blanks on the upcoming schedule of meetings.

Didn't Melissa Barker, aka The Archive Lady give FHIG a wonderful live presentation, live streaming from her office in Tennessee? Some additional sources for her thoughts and suggestions: The Archive Lady Facebook Page Melissa LeMaster Barker's blog: Family Tree Webinars - Melissa LeMaster Barker The Archive Lady on DearMYRTLE Playlist - I (Ruth) thought Melissa set a very manageable tone. Archivists can sometimes be quite intimidating in their 'stick to the rules' requirements but she has a more human approach which made the projects of home archiving seem quite achievable! I'd love to hear how she inspired YOU.
