a webinar presentation by Regina Fitzpatrick, NJ State Library Genealogy Librarian Tuesday, July 24 Join us as we view an introduction to the basics of genealogy research, with specific focus on how to plan a repository visit, as well as an overview of resources available at the State Library, the State Archives and County offices. The webinar will be followed by a question and answer session, an opportunity to learn from those who have used these services. The State Library and the State Archives are two separate entities with their own collections, equipment, rules, and copy fees, etc. Staff members at the State Library and the State Archives are always available to answer questions and steer you in the right direction as you are researching, but you will be more productive if you prepare before you go. Learn what you need to make a well-informed plan, right from the comfort of a FHIG meeting. All are welcome!
