Lyman Smith Allen Saturday, November 11, 2:00 pm Multi-Purpose Room Lyman Smith Allen pastored churches in Benton and Cobden, Illinois before coming to Henderson to pastor Immanuel Baptist Temple in 1946. He remained at the church for over 30 years. In this interview he tells about how and why he became a pastor and what the ministry meant to him. Minecraft EDU Thursdays, November 2, 9, 16, 30, @ 4 pm Children's Department Minecraft EDU combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills in a very fun and highly creative way. Participants will use their critical thinking skills, as well as their social skills. Must register at library on first come, first served basis: must have signed Minecraft Edu consent form; maximum amount of registrants is 10. However, a standing waiting list will be taken. Participants are allowed to miss two sessions in a month before they lose their spot.
