We will explore creative writing such as fiction, poetry, etc. All skill levels are welcome. We will participate in writing prompts and critiquing personal work. Sharing one's own work is not required, but is highly encouraged. Please bring your own materials: no personal work over 5 pages.

It's is a free website like a visual online bulletin board that lets you save and share things such as: recipes, craft ideas, gardening, home décor, and more. Learn how to set up, navigate, create pins, and find topics that "Pinterest" you. Participants must have an email account prior to class to set up a Pinterest account.

Talented Toddlers Wednesdays, May 3 & 10, 10:00 am Children's Reading Kingdom Toddlers and their caregivers will participate in a high-energy, fast-paced, interactive storytime while singing, dancing, and having a great time. Early literacy tips will be provided to use while reading with your toddler. Once storytime is over, playtime begins! This is a great time for parents to socialize and play with their toddlers. Space is limited, registration is encouraged.

Minecraft EDU Wednesdays, May 3 & 10, 4:00 pm Children's Department Minecraft EDU combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills in a very fun and highly creative way. Participants will use their critical thinking skills, as well as their social skills. Must register at library on first come, first served basis; must have signed Minecraft Edu consent form. Maximum amount of registrants is 10, and a waiting list will be taken. Participants are allowed to miss two sessions in a month before they lose their spot.

Genius Juniors Thursdays, May 4 & 11, 10:00 am Children's Reading Kingdom Preschoolers and their caregivers will enjoy high-energy, interactive and literacy based storytimes, activities, hands-on games, songs, music, and movement. Once storytime is over, it is time to play! Centers will be set up with fun, age-appropriate activities that both parents and children can enjoy while socializing and making new friends.

Learn to use the force, build your own lightsaber, create a galaxy in a jar, eat a treat at the Admiral Snackbar, and snap a pic with a Jedi master or Sith Lord! Costume contest judging begins at 5 pm. All ages welcome.
