We will explore creative writing such as fiction, poetry, etc. All skill levels are welcome. We will participate in writing prompts and sharing and critiquing personal work. Sharing one's own work is not required, but is highly encouraged. Please bring your own materials, please do not bring any personal work over 5 pages.

Learn the basics of folding the pages of a book to create an image, and then go a step further to follow and create a cut and fold pattern. Genetic Genealogy Book Club Fridays, February 9 & 23, 12:00 pm Multi-Purpose Room Some things are easier to do in a group, like understanding genetic genealogy! Join us for a discussion of the book Genetic Genealogy in Practice by Blaine T. Bettinger and Debbie Parker Wayne. We will dissect the book chapter by chapter and explore the exercises provided in the book. The book may be purchased on Amazon or from the online National Genealogical Society store. Class size is limited to 8, so register early.

Minecraft EDU Thursdays,February 1, 8, 15, 22 @ 4 pm Children's Department Minecraft EDU combines science, technology, engineering, art, and math skills in a very fun and highly creative way. Participants will use their critical thinking skills, as well as their social skills. Must register at library on first come, first served basis: must have signed Minecraft Edu consent form; maximum amount of registrants is 10. However, a standing waiting list will be taken. Participants are allowed to miss two sessions in a month before they lose their spot.
