Veni, Vidi, Legi!
The book club newsletter of the Batavia Public Library
2020 - no.4 (Fall/Winter)

Welcome back to our fourth issue of Veni, Vidi, Legi! - the Library's Book Club newsletter. (It means "I came, I saw, I read" in Latin.) Twice a year we will bring you articles, websites, and other items we hope your book club will find interesting and helpful.
2020 has certainly been a year like no other and book clubs had to adjust to a new way of communicating, many suspending in-person meetings and going online instead. “Zoom” no longer means to move with great speed or refer to a camera function but has become a synonym to meet up online. Whether your club is back to meeting face to face or still zooming or skyping, etc., we hope you find something useful in our newsletter.
