Women's History Month
March celebrates Women's History Month which originated as a national celebration in 1981. On March 7, 1982, it started as “Women’s History Week." By 1995, the week grew into all of March.” This month celebrates the contributions women have made to the United States and recognizes the specific achievements women have made throughout American history in a variety of fields. Visit our Online Library for feature collections celebrating Women's History Month.

Canton residents are invited to sharpen their pencils and fire up their laptops to participate in this year’s Canton Writes!
• Five age groups
• Three Categories: short story, poem, or non-fiction/memoir 
 Length: maximum of 1,000 words.
Submit entries by March 3, 2025  via email to  cantonwrites@town.canton.ma.us, along with a submission form available at www.library.canton.ma.us

Celebrate International Women's Day

Water Quality Presentation

Join NepRWA River Restoration Director Sean McCanty and Environmental Science Fellow Paul Hanbury as they present water quality data and trends for the Neponset River, its streams, and ponds. In addition, hear from Lisa Holden, Program Director of the X-Cel Conservation Corps of Boston.

More than 60 Massachusetts public libraries have partnered to offer the 50+ Job Seekers Networking Group to support people fifty years and older looking for a new job, a new career direction, or a Second Act career! Each bi-weekly meeting features a different topic, presented by Debbi Hope, MBA, PCIC, MC.
