Summer Reading
Lets embrace the beauty of art in all its forms by preparing for our Summer Reading Program 2025! As you know, the summer learning gap is a real challenge that our students face. The Summer Reading Program (SRP) is a great way to keep kids engaged in reading throughout the summer, with some fun prizes along the way, including a free book when they finish!

We are delighted to announce that the theme for this year’s program is Color Our World! We look forward to your journey of art and creativity celebrating the many ways in which art enriches our lives. We are very excited about this year’s theme and hope you are, too!

In addition to SRP, we are planning engaging programs for children of all ages!

You can sign up beginning June 1 here:  http://mchenrylibrary.beanstack.org

We are working on a promotional video that you can send out to your students. Look out for it in one of our future newsletters!

A Pocket Full of Rocks

You can do a lot with a pocket full of rocks. Rocks make excellent chairs for fairies, they are perfect for writing your name on the sidewalk, or just to hold in your hand when you need reassurance. And so the rocks pile up, until the season turns and you need to make room for pockets full of petals. And shells. And acorns! Each season's treasure is kept and curated and loved, until it's time to give the treasures away and make room for new things to come.
Just Like Millie
