United Against Hate Week (November 30 - December 6, 2020)
United Against Hate Week (Nov. 30-Dec. 6, 2020) is a call for local civic action by people in every Bay Area community to stop the hate and implicit biases that are a dangerous threat to the safety and civility of our neighborhoods, towns, and cities.
As the dangers of hate, racism, and bigotry grow more apparent every day, the need for local action to counter hate is urgent. Our City Council and Burlingame's United Against Hate (UAH) Committee invite you to join us for a week of civic action to stop hate and build inclusion.
This series will do more than just raise awareness about the dangers of hate and the need for respect and civil discourse. It will also help our community build stronger connections with civic leaders, businesses, and schools as well as promote deeper engagement year-round. Safety from hate and intolerance are vital building blocks for inclusive, equitable, and healthy communities.
