Sunday, September 10, 4:30 pm Wednesday, September 13, 4:00 pm Wednesday, September 13, 4:30 pm NIC Program Room Learn to use the library's sewing machines at this introductory class. This class is a great way for children to learn about sewing machine basics, and will be a prerequisite for those new to our sewing classes to participate in future sewing programs. Program is limited to 8 children in 4th through 5th grades.

Sunday, October 8, 1:00 pm NIC Program Room Finishing up that Halloween costume or project and need a little guidance? The library will have sewing machines available and a staff member on hand to help troubleshoot and finish that sewing project. Participants must bring the major costume supplies. Sewing machines, glue, thread, scissors and basic notions will be provided. Space and supplies are limited. This is a drop-in event for students in 4th grade through adults. Children in 4th and 5th grades must have prior experience with a sewing program at the library or have taken the Sewing 101 class.

Tuesday, Oct. 17, 1-3 pm - NSL Children's Program Room Tuesday, Nov 28, 9:30am - NBL Program Room Come Play With Us At The Library! DuPage Children's Museum is taking exhibits on the road! The museum's early learning specialist and community access coordinator will provide play facilitation techniques utilizing portable versions of full-sized exhibits. In addition, library staff will demonstrate the power of play through storytimes during this drop-in program, with a room limit of 30. This program is presented in partnership with DuPage Children's Museum.

Wednesday, Nov. 22 - "Sing" NSL Meeting Room A/B Bring the whole family and enjoy the day off school while watching a movie at the library. Movies are rated PG. These programs are open to children, teens and adults.

Maker Fair Saturday, November 4, Noon - NSL Library Join Naperville Public Library for the library's first ever MakerFair event! A MakerFair is a celebration of the DIY and STEAM movements. Enjoy an afternoon filled with demonstrations and hands-on activities for all ages. Check the library website, www.naperville-lib.org, for more information.

The child and parent/adult will read the selected book together and then attend the club's meeting to discuss it with others while enjoying a cookie or two. Each book will be chosen at the preceding meeting and listed on the library's website, www.naperville-lib.org. The library will have multiple copies of each title available for checkout.
