The Pitch Session

Want to practice your pitch? This is your opportunity to participate in a pitch session by making a 10 minute pitch or observing others and offering feedback. Pitchers can choose from three optional pitch formats: Request funding for growth of your business, Pitch for a strategic partner, make a sales pitch for your product or service. Beginner's Accounting Using Quickbooks
Wednesday, March 21, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
This session covers basic double-entry accounting concepts to include financial statements, the 5 types of accounts and how they work together to form an accounting system. How to record many of the basic transactions in QuickBooks will be demonstrated while reinforcing the basic accounting concepts. Participants may bring a laptop computer and work in personal copies of QuickBooks during the workshop.

Intermediate Accounting Using Quickbooks
Wednesday, April 4, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
In this second session of the basic accounting series, more intermediate level learning topics will be covered such as sub-accounts, memorized transactions and financial reporting. To continue the financial accounting covered in Beginners Accounting Using QuickBooks, this session will also address analysis of financial statements as part of reporting.
