Adult Programs and Events
The Library sponsors several different kinds of book clubs. We read mysteries, classics, regional writers, and an eclectic mix. The Library provides copies of the titles used in its book discussion groups at no charge. Bring your lunch and eat while we discuss our featured title. Call the Reference Desk at (864) 941-4655 or come upstairs in the Main Library. All classes will meet in the Digital Literacy Lab upstairs in the Main Library. 
 
Basics I
Tuesday, March 17
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
This class is an introductory course to the computer. In this class you will begin with the fundamental skills needed to use a computer. This class must be taken before student can continue to Basics II.
 
 Basics II
Wednesday, March 18
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Learn how to resize windows, learn all about the start menu, and develop intermediate mouse skills. Students must complete this class before continuing onto Basics III.
 
Basics III
Friday, March 20
10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
In this class, the student will apply the fundamental skills learned in Basic I and II to the learn how to open and save files, use a USB flash drive and more. Basics I and II must be completed before taking Basics III.
 
Tech Tuesday

You and your little ones are invited to come watch this delightful children’s book come to life in this upbeat sing-a-long musical, with a special appearance by Dolly Parton herself via video.
