Candidate Forums at the Library
Candidate Forums
Contra Costa County Library is hosting a series of candidate forums. Hear directly from the candidates for Assembly District 15, District Attorney, and Superintendent of Schools. View flyer for dates, times, and locations.

The Library is partnering with the League of Women Voters of the Diablo Valley, the West County League of Women Voters, Contra Costa County Elections Department, and Contra Costa Television to bring these forums to the public.

 
El Cerrito Library is Now Open 7 Days/Week
The El Cerrito Library is open an additional 15 hours a week. Thanks to an increase in funding from the City of El Cerrito, the El Cerrito Library is now open on Wednesdays and Sundays, which were previously closed days. Meet Stephen DeFrank, Community Library Manager at Kensington
Stephen DeFrankStephen DeFrank is the Community Library Manager in Kensington. He has been with the Contra Costa County Library since 2015 and says he really enjoys what he does.

Cartoon Art Museum Returns to Discover & Go
Cartoon Art MuseumDiscover & Go welcomes the return of San Francisco's Cartoon Art Museum. The Museum has moved into a spacious new location at Fisherman's Wharf where visitors will find comic strips, comic books and anime, political cartoons, graphic novels, and underground comix. Reserve your pass at Discover & Go.
 
 
Concord Library Closed for Remodeling Project
The Concord Library will be closed from May 6 – May 28  to remodel and update the public restrooms. This short-term closure will allow the library to provide a more inviting and comfortable space for the community and library patrons.
