Are you a reader? Want to read a book you may not ever choose yourself? Join our fun-filled group exploring novels you may never have picked up at the library. Our club meets once a month at Nanuet Hotel & Restaurant in the loft. Space is limited, so please register!
We will purchase food to share. You can buy your beverage of choice.

Friday DOCS Film Series: "Atomic People"

Witness the testimony of some of the last 'Hibakusha' - survivors of the two atomic bombs - before their voices are lost forever. Combining their personal accounts with archival footage, hear from this shrinking group, most of whom were children when the bombs were dropped. They are the only people left to have survived a nuclear bomb; learn how their experiences continue to affect them to this day.

Sign up once for the whole school year.  We will not meet on days when school is not in session.

PARENT email and phone number is REQUIRED. Students must remain in the program room for the duration of the program - we do not have enough seating in the main Children's Room or outside for those wishing to leave early. 

Children may be dropped off and attend program independently.
