Please note: Library of Things items are not part of the auto-renew system. If the item has been requested by another patron, or has been renewed twice already, it will not renew and must be returned.

Early Dismissal Day: See the Movie, Read the Book Calling all families to our "See the Movie, Read The Book" series on early dismissal days! Experience the magic of storytelling with a short reading, followed by the joy of watching the story unfold on the big screen. Popcorn and treats are provided! After the film, we've got exciting activities inspired by the story. We have four more sessions before the program ends! Friday, June 14 at 1:30 pm - 4:00 pm Please note: Children 10 and under must have a caregiver 13 or older with them.

Saturday May 25th, 9:30 - 10:30 am We are thrilled to be hosting the incredible Balourdet Quartet this year! The quartet will be joining us for a very special edition of Once Upon an Alphabet. We will start off with storytime at 9:30am, followed by crafts and activities while you enjoy the amazing sounds and talent of the quartet. Raven's River Story Board May 1-31Gallery Wall, entrance In partnership with Banff Mental Health and Addiction Awareness Week and Right From the Start. Visit our “Raven’s River Story Board” that will showcase stories written by local youths who draw inspiration from animals in our forests’ to overcome hardship. Animals in our forests exemplify diversity, teamwork, and strength, which are vital in overcoming hardships. We would love for you to be part of this initiative! If you would like to contribute your own thoughts and feelings about overcoming challenges, helping others or want to share some supportive words. Share a short story, poem, or drawing with us. Writing prompt templates are available to pick up from the library!

Companions for the Caregiver Journey
Thursday May 9, 2 - 4pm Program Room Are you a family or friend caregiver supporting someone living with illness, disability, or aging needs? Do you need encouragement or support in managing the ups and downs of this role? Are you struggling to find the right resources, information and supports available to you in the Bow Valley?
Come and connect with your local community of caregivers and fill your cup! Refreshments and treats provided.
