CLEMMONS BRANCH LIBRARY NEWSLETTER Excitement is in the air this spring at the library. The Clemmons Branch is hosting events for Creek Week, Money Smart Week and Teen Tech Week, plus we will be crowning the first ever Clemmons Branch Library Spelling Bee Champion. Saturday, March 24 @ 1:00 p.m. Test your knowledge in the first ever Forsyth County Public Library Spelling Bee! The winner from the Clemmons Branch will go on to compete in the countywide Library Spelling Bee Championship scheduled for April 14, 2018! Open to children 8-12 years old. Limited to 20 entrants. Choose a recipe from a pre-selected book and we’ll make a copy for you. Bring in the finished dish on the day of the meeting to share with other members. Must bring a dish to attend. On March 21, the Cookin' Club will be making Japanese cuisine. The Club will also meet on April 18, with a theme of eating healthy (carbs, diabetic meals, and whole life nutrition). Meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m.

Teen Tech Week - LEGO Mindstorms

Thursday, March 8 @4:00 p.m. Join us for Legos and Coding. We will build and code a robot using the Lego Mindstorms kit. This program teaches basic elementary elements of coding for teens in 6th-12th grade. Registration is required as space is limited.
