We had a very exciting and fun filled summer with our Game On: Level Up at Your Library Teen Program. Over 190 teens/tweens registered for the summer reading game in our Beanstack app and read for 261,157. You continue to impress me! We had 18 programs including the reading challenge with 750 teen/tween participants. Can you believe that 4545 Beanstack badges were earned with 832 activities like, writing poems, drawing pictures and answering Google questions were completed?
The library was also buzzing with teens actively looking for their school summer reading books. Congratulations is in order to the student's in the Marshall Middle School! If you go there, your school had the most students register for the program. But don't worry, the Locke and the High School weren't that far behind. We also had a strong number of students who are home schooled or from a different town participate too.
