January 1 – 31, 2018 Help us reach our goal of 1000 books! “Shark Tank” investor Mark Cuban, has challenged nearly 100 libraries and schools across the nation to meet a collective goal of encouraging patrons and library staff to read at least 70,000 books during the month of January. If the goal is met, Cuban pledges to donate $25,000 to First Book, a nonprofit enterprise that provides new books, learning materials and other essential resources to children in need.
