Check Out a Person Thursday, April 5, 4:30-6:30 p.m. Group Study Room Each month we will have someone new for you to come chat one-on-one with that has an interesting life experience/job. Our guest in April will be Sergeant Chris O’Donnell, who began working at the Sarasota Police Department in January of 2001 as a patrol officer. He also currently teaches at the Sarasota Criminal Justice Academy on topics such as basic recruit classes and advanced/specialized courses for veteran officers. He also serves as a Traffic Homicide Investigator in the department’s Collateral Traffic Unit. This program is geared for adults and teens. Registration is required. Loan periods are 20 minutes and space is limited to 6 participants per month. To register, call 941-861-1360.
