Health in Motion Bus Tuesday, May 23 @ 12:00-5:00 p.m. The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota Countys (DOH-Sarasota) Health in Motion staff provide no-cost health screenings and referrals for general health and wellness. Health in Motion services include: Blood pressure screening; Body mass index (BMI) measurement; Diabetes - glucose screening; HIV and STD testing (select sites); Tips for staying healthy; Referrals to: Quit Your Way with Tobacco Free Florida; Medical and dental care at Community Health Centers of Sarasota County. No appointment is needed.

Adult Craft Workshop Friday, May 26 @ 3:00 pm Meeting Room II Using household bleach products and stencils, we will extract color and make designs on t-shirt. Bring a 100 percent cotton black t-shirt to class--new or used, the cheaper the better. If you cannot bring a shirt, shirts will be available but no guarantees on size. If you have a sensitivity to bleach, we advise that you not attend. Registration begins Monday May 1st at 10am. Register at the Information Services Desk or call Lisa at 861-1376.

Storywalk Saturday, May 6 @ 10:00 am Stroll through our Reading Garden with your little one as YOU become the storyteller. Enjoy a different book the first Saturday of every month! Best suited for ages 7 and under, but all ages can participate. In case of rain, storywalks will be setup in the Kids' Zone.You can take a craft project to go or complete it in the library during your visit.
