Ottobot Robotic STEM Program Tuesday, January 20, 3 p.m. - 5 p.m. Walkertown Branch Library Ottobots is a two hour long program where we teach kids about robotics, and then they do hands on activities to build and decorate a FIRST Tech Challenge Robot. Near the end of the session, they can drive around the bot they built! Ages 7 - 11. Please register.

Billy Hairston: A Walkertown Legacy
Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 6 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. Walkertown Branch Library Auditorium Join the Walkertown Area Historical Society and the library for a special Black History Month tribute honoring Billy Hairston, who made history as the first and only Black member of the Walkertown Town Council. Mr. Hairston also served as Mayor Pro Tem during his time in office in the 1980s. His family will present on his life, service, and lasting impact on the Walkertown community. This program offers a meaningful opportunity to learn about local history and celebrate a trailblazing figure in our town's civic life. Free and open to the public. Co-sponsored by the Walkertown Area Historical Society.
