Letter To You/Bruce Springsteen
The Boss straps on his guitar to remind you it’s possible to get through the day, and maybe even end it with a smile on our face...his new record Letter To You is an absolute triumph, one that can take its place alongside the best albums of Springsteen’s long career. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have created a musical testament to survival—the toll it exacts, the struggle it requires, but also the beauty to be found in the very cracks that give shape to our damaged souls. It’s one for the ages, and apparently Springsteen is finally the perfect age to deliver it.--AV Club

Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass
A spoken word album by Lana De Rey (with additional music by Jack Antonoff), Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is one of the most fully formed albums she has put out. Yes, some of the rhymes are clunky and a tad juvenile, but there is a sort of elegance to them. Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is the album I’ve always wanted Del Rey to make. It’s brave, in a naïve way, and filled with some of glorious subtle backing tracks. --Quietus
