Wet-Felted Wool Bookmark July 1; 5-6:30 p.m. Get ready to learn something special! Come to the library and learn a wet-felted wool technique to make your own special wool bookmark! All supplies will be provided. Space is limited to 10. Registration is required. Registration opens on June 17.

Red, White & Blue Vehicle Decorating (All Ages) July 3; 3-4 p.m. Get all red, white, and blue! Bring your wheels--bikes, scooters or strollers--to the Marblehead Peninsula Branch Library to decorate in patriotic style. All materials provided to ensure your wheels are parade-ready. No registration required. Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.

Exploring Color July 10, 6-7 p.m. Join NW Ohio artist Rob Ledwedge for a hands-on lesson in color and its function in creating art. Space is limited to 20. Registration is required. Registration opens on June 26.

Summer Reading Finale: Party on the Patio (All Ages) July 12, 11 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Finish up the 2025 Summer Reading Program with a party on the patio out back of the library. We'll have colorful chalk available for decorating the pavement, and we'll have as our special guests Brad LaMarca, Danbury Schools Resource Officer, and his partner, K9 Kalahan. In case of rain, we'll just move the party into our meeting room. No registration required.

Marblehead Peninsula Coffee Hour July 21, 10-11 a.m. Join us for FREE coffee, tea, and conversation at the Marblehead Peninsula Branch Library. The idea behind the coffee hour is to give Peninsula residents and employees a chance to talk with each other in a comfortable and civil setting. This is an open, free-form conversation. Meet your neighbors! Network with other organizations! Our special guest this month is Shawn Hunsicker, Danbury Fire Chief. No registration required.

Pastel Art July 23, 11 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Local artist Alice Holly will offer a hands-on program using pastels. Space is limited to 15, registration is required. Registration opens on July 9th.

Summer Story Time July 7, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Join veteran teacher Kristin Vogel-Campbell for a colorful hour of reading, song and a craft to take home. No registration required. Ages 3+. Parents and caregivers are asked to stay with their children.

Otterbein Book Club June 16, 1-2 p.m. Otterbein Marblehead SeniorLife Community 9400 N Shore Blvd, Lakeside Marblehead The Otterbein Book Club is open to anyone; you do not need to be a resident of Otterbein to participate. This month's book is The Backyard Bird Chronicles, by Amy Tan. Copies of the book are available at the library branch. No registration required.

Registration is required, sign up on our website calendar or by calling the library at 419-798-0477. Tech Help sessions are back starting on July 15. Tech Help sessions are held on Tuesdays 3-4 p.m. and Wednesdays 10-11 a.m.
