Take a Break Book Club
Monday, April 7th, 1-2 pm
We thought we needed a different kind of book club.  For this meeting, read a book of your choosing that is a biography.  Each month that we meet a new genre will be suggested.    We will be meeting in the library where you can relax with a warm cup of coffee or tea. No registration required.
It's National Scrabble Day!
Did you know that Scrabble Day is on April 13th?
We thought it would be fun to have a Scrabble Day at the library to honor Scrabble inventor Alfred Mosher Butts. 
 
Stop by Erie Islands Library on Saturday, April 12th from 11 am-1 pm or Monday, April 14th from 10-11:30 am pm to play this crossword-style board game.

It's National Gummi Bear Day!
 On Sunday, April 27th, Haribo is celebrating 100 years of gummi bears.  
Since we are not open on Sunday, we're having a two-day celebration!  On Saturday, April 26th and Monday, April 28th, help us to salute this all-time favorite sweet treat.  Free packs will be distributed to everyone who comes to the library during open hours.

Book Discussion
Words & Wine Book Club
Wednesday, April16th, 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Join us and share a book you have read while enjoying a beverage of your own choosing. Even if you haven't had time to read, you are welcome to join us to hear what others are suggesting. We can't wait to hear what you have been reading! New adult members are always welcome.

1000 Books Before Kindergarten
 
Waylon has worked hard to read over 250 books towards his 1000 Books Before Kindergarten goal.  This goal helped him to win the Winter Reading Challenge for all three libraries.  Congratulations Waylon!
