Winter Crochet Series: Open Workshop January 8, 11 a.m - Noon If you never crocheted before or want a refresher, the library is offering 2 basic stitch workshops. Join us for one or both. Today's is an open house format where you can stop by anytime between 3:30-5:30 pm and we can get you started with basic stitches, like chain, slip, single and double crochet and answer questions. Geared towards ages 10 and up. Yarn and hooks will be provided.

Winter Crochet Series: Workshop January 10, 5-7 p.m. Just learning or want a refresher this workshop will cover basic stitches – chain, single and double crochet; explain the different types of yarn and hooks and how that affects your projects; and how to read basic patterns. Registration required and limited to 6 people. Registration opens on December 27th. Geared towards ages 10 and up. Yarn and hooks will be provided.

Winter Crochet Series - Frazzle January 22, 3:30-4:40 p.m. "Random Act of Crochet Kindness Frazzle" Join us to crochet this little guy “Frazzle." Registration required and limited to 8 people. Registration opens on January 8th. Geared towards ages 10 and up. Yarn and hooks will be provided. Knowledge of double crochet would be helpful but not required.

Winter Crochet Series - Octopus January 22, 3:30-5:00 p.m. Come crochet an 8-legged friend. This simple little guy is made of chains, single and half double crochet stitches. Thursday January 29th from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. Registration is required and limited to 8 people. Registration opens January 15th. Geared towards ages 10 and up. Yarn and hooks will be provided.

Bingo for Books January 6, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Bingo for Books is back! Let's play a little bingo to win some books. We will do regular bingo games and a cover all. Participants need to be able to read numbers from 1 to 75 and have knowledge of the bingo card set-up. Intended for children over the age of 6. No registration required.

Stuffed Animal Sleepover January 13, Drop Off 3:30-4 p.m. January 14, Pick Up 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to sleep over night at the library? We don't have enough room for all of our patrons, but we think we can handle your stuffies! After school between 3:30-4 pm, drop your stuffed animal off at the library and we will entertain them for the evening. You can pick your stuffed friend up again anytime between 10 am - 2 pm on Wednesday. We'll be sure to take pictures of what we do so you know we took great care of them. Registration not required.

Movie Night: Homeward Bound November 21, 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tonight's movie selection is a Disney hit about two dogs and a cat who run away from their sitter to find their beloved family. This incredible journey is hundreds of miles long, over mountains and rough terrain, and with many adventures. It is rated G. Popcorn and beverage will be served. No registration required

Words & Wine Book Club January 21, 5:00-6:0 p.m. Join us and share a book you have read while enjoying a beverage of your own choosing. Even if you haven't had time to read, you are welcome to join us to hear what others are suggesting. We can't wait to hear what you have been reading! New adult members are always welcome. We will meet at Duff Homestead. No registration necessary.

Calling all caregivers! Sign up your children from birth until kindergarten for this early literacy program on Beanstack. Prizes can be picked up at the library for registration and each 100 books read.
