Diamond Art for Kids Wednesday, June 4th, 10 am Join us for a fun craft of diamond gem painting! Choose your own zoo animals from four unique designs to dazzle your world. Intended for ages 6-11. Space is limited to 18, registration is required. Registration opens on May 21. |
Rufus the Dufus Tuesday, June 10th, 4 pm Join us for fun at Erie Islands Library to watch Rufus the Dufus, a circus inspired act that is sure to entertain! Rufus has mastered a plethora of skills. His specialties are hilarious sketches with juggling and uni-cycling intertwined. But it doesn't stop there, as he also includes magic, object manipulation—such as ball spinning and circus boxes, balancing acts—like Rola-Bola and hand balancing, and much more. All ages will appreciate this Summer Reading performance! No Registration Required. |
Friday, June 13th, 10 am Design your very own friendship bracelet. We have all kinds of beads to choose from to make your unique style. No registration required. PreSchool Story Time Monday, June 23rd, 10 am Join us for a half hour of reading, song and a craft to take home. Parents and caregivers are asked to stay with their children for this event. No registration required. |
Rock Painting for Kids Tuesday, June 17th, 5 pm Looking for something to do after a fun day on the island? Stop by the library to paint your own rock to take home or to hide somewhere on the island. We will have a selection of rocks and paint supplies. Intended for children ages 6 and up. No registration necessary. Sand Art Tuesday, June 24th, 5 pm Unleash your creativity using colorful sand. There will be four shapes to choose from. Intended for children ages 6 and up. Space is limited to 20, registration is required. Registration opens on June 10.. |
Words & Wine Book Club Wednesday, June 18th, 5:30 pm Join us and share a book you have read while enjoying a beverage of your own choosing. Even if you haven't had time to read, you are welcome to join us to hear what others are suggesting. We can't wait to hear what you have been reading! New adult members are always welcome. Tech Help Saturday, July 12th, 10 am Join University of Dayton computer tech Dustin Boyed for technical help on your electronic devices: laptop, cell phone, etc. Bring your device and your questions or things you want to know more about. This will be an open forum format and a chance for you to ask questions and receive help. Space is limited to 6, registration is required. Registration opens on June 28. If seats are available on the day of event, they will be filled on first come, first served basis. |
