Clown In A Cornfield By: Adam Cesare Review By: Sharlene When Quinn Maybrook moves to the struggling small town of Kettle Springs, she quickly discovers that Frendo—the town’s old clown mascot—is more than just a symbol of the past. As tensions between teens and adults boil over, the story erupts into a bloody fight for survival. After reading the book, you can watch the movie adaptation. This movie brings the characters even more to life and while there are some distinct differences between movie and book. The movie makes everything even more scary. Both the movie and the book have an eerie atmosphere and timely themes about generational conflict. This book is a gripping choice for readers who enjoy scary, high-energy horror.
