Hello Book Lovers, February is Black History Month, and we have some wonderful programs in this year's Black History Celebration, including a virtual book-talk program. There's also plenty of time to complete Winter Reading Challenge, if you haven't yet. It runs through the end of this month. Tuesday, February 24, 6:30 p.m. Library staff will share their favorite African American literature titles in celebration of Black History Month. Adults. Registration required. St. Louis County Library will host a Black History Celebration in February. The theme for 2026 is “Exploring 100 Years of Black St. Louis.” Events include performances by the Black Rep, a jazz concert, a gospel celebration, author events, historical lectures and more.
