During National Library Week, April 6-12, SLCL invited patrons to vote on their favorite design for a new bookmobile sponsored by the James S. McDonnell Family Foundation. Voting took place on the SLCL Instagram account and via paper ballots available at all 20 SLCL branches and on the bookmobiles. Over 5,500 people voted! The winning design, by a small margin, is Books are Magical. The Books are Magical bookmobile will be produced later this year. It is the fourth new bookmobile to join the SLCL fleet.
