Virtual Program: 2025 SLCL Staff Favorites
Hear St. Louis County Library staff talk about their favorite books of 2025. Adults. Registration required. Participants will receive Zoom information via email immediately after registering. A recording of this virtual program will be posted to YouTube within three business days.

St. Louis Teen Book Festival
St. Louis County Library and The Novel Neighbor bookstore are thrilled to host the fourth annual St. Louis area book festival celebrating teen readers! The St. Louis Teen Book Festival will take place on Saturday, December 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Clark Family Branch. The event is free and open to all readers. The festival features book talks, author signings, and meet-and-greet opportunities with 20 of the hottest young adult authors in a variety of genres. Winter Food Drive
Winter Food Drive
Stop by your local SLCL branch from December 8, 2025-January 30, 2026 and donate to our winter food drive benefitting Operation Food Search. The most needed items are canned meats, fish, fruit, beans, soup, diced tomatoes, tomato paste and spaghetti sauce.

Books Are Magical Bookmobile
St. Louis County Library unveiled a new bookmobile on December 1 at Armstrong Elementary in the Hazelwood School District. Sponsored by the James S. McDonnell Family Foundation, this is the fourth new bookmobile to join the SLCL fleet in 2025. The design of the Books are Magical bookmobile was created by St. Louis artist Dan Zettwoch with input from kids across St. Louis County and was selected by voters on SLCL’s social media platforms.
