LIBRARY INSIDER
Need to Know:
What Should You Read Next?

Think of your librarians as a personal reader's advisory service! We're very good at matching readers to books, if we do say so ourselves. Feel free to drop us a line any time with requests for reading recommendations. You can also give us a call or stop by your favorite branch for in-person suggestions.

Prefer to discover new books on your own? You can browse the newest titles hitting our shelves, check out our reader's advisory blog, or visit our recommended reading page for booklists, readalikes, and more. Happy reading!

Featured Program:
Book Discussion Groups

We have book discussion groups for several genres at several locations! All are welcome to join at any time; we post the titles well in advance and stock copies in our collection so that everyone can read the next month's title without having to purchase it.

Take a look at our upcoming July discussions and find the book group that's right for you!

You Asked, We Answered!

Question: Lots of other libraries do big pop culture events or mini-conventions. Do you do stuff like that?

Answer: Indeed we do. This August, we're hosting our second LIBCON: a library-sponsored event celebrating popular and geek culture. There will be Star Wars-themed activities for children, crafts for teens, a trivia competition, gaming tournaments, various vendors for attendees to browse, and lots of other fun stuff! It all culminates in a cosplay contest and prize raffle. If you're interested, mark your calendar for Saturday, August 11th from 11-4.
