Fantastic Books Book Group Reads: Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe

Fantastic Books is a BPL book group for adults in their 20s and 30s that reads a wide variety of fiction and nonfiction. Our November theme is "Food Fiction," and we will read Fried Green Tomatoes at the Whistle Stop Cafe by Fannie Flagg.
 
Copies are available to pick up at the Central Library Borrower Services desk while supplies last, or you may place holds on other copies or formats via the library catalog.
 
Registration is recommended in order to receive reminders of upcoming meetings and vote for future title selections. Please fill out this form to subscribe. To vote in the upcoming titles poll, you must register by November 11.

Native Lives, Native Stories 2025
Native Lives, Native Stories is a list of books published in the previous year for children, teens, and adults concerning the experiences of the Native and Indigenous communities throughout North America. This list is part of the Boston Public Library's annual observance of Native American Heritage Month, since 2021.
