Spring Adventures
Hey Gang!

Samm here with announcements and other good stuff.

  • Flash Fiction was a huge, if chaotic, success! Here's the highlights:
    • At 5:15pm, we got word that we needed to move the event into the Theatre. Thanks to a few awesome library staff and Write Clubbers, we were only five minutes late hitting the stage. Big shoutout to everyone who grabbed something and RAN to get our second setup ready for showtime!
    • Our lineup had no less than SIX changes. Thanks to the folks who jumped in to fill the gaps at the last second! If you'd like to see and/or share the video, you can find it here.
    • We sold eight copies of the Anthology at the event! I had lots of people ask me before, during, and after the event about buying on Amazon. I'm looking forward to seeing the April sales report from D2D! All proceeds are going towards the library's programming budget to support programs like Write Club. Thanks to everyone who has been promoting the anthology!
  • Be sure to take a look at the News and Other Notices section below for updates on projects like Bobby's Short Story Workshop Series, Noir at the Bar, publications, and a vending opportunity!

  • Our next meetings are Monday May 5th @6pm and Saturday May 31st @10:30am. As usual, if you need to send something for me to print or put up on the screen, please do so by the Wednesday before we meet to be sure I see it!

    That's all for now!
