A Circle of Friends

First and foremost, thank you to the Marshfield Country Club for hosting our Trivia Night with the Friends happening on October 2. We are most grateful to the establishments who agreed to sponsor a table at the event: The Business Center, Mae’s Sandwich Shop, South River Veterinary Hospital, Salon Giovanni, The Grill, Tumblefun Gymnastics, Goodwill Hunters, Coastal Treasures, South Shore Disposal, and Bookish Mrs. Nelson. We appreciate all of you!

With fall foliage season underway and before the snowflakes fly, why not get away from the madding crowd and whisk off to one of the 34 islands dotting Boston Harbor? A ferry trip to the Boston Harbor Islands is a perfect escape, and a library pass (available on the library website) will admit up to 4 people at 50% off. The pass is available through October 13, so don’t delay. If you’re more inclined to woods and rivers, reserve the library pass for the Massachusetts State Parks. The pass admits one vehicle free of charge.

The auction table’s theme for this month is: Shades of Blue / Miscellany.

Happy October from the Friends!
