M-F, through August 14, 12pm Join us at the Grass Valley Library for lunch and a summer activity for children ages 0 to 18. Participants will be provided a fresh, free meal and are encouraged to engage in a fun activity that changes daily. Activities include Hang Out Monday, STEAM Tuesday, Art Wednesday, Move! Thursday, and Family Friday. No registration or income requirement necessary. Lunches are Served 12-12:30pm. Activities from 12:30-1pm.

Wednesday, August 1, 4pm What lives in rivers and streams? Come and explore the wild world of macroinvertebrates - or water bugs - with the Sierra Watershed Education Partners. Get your hands wet! Ages 5 and up.

Family movies rated G and PG. Free popcorn and candy provided. Drop-in program.

Are wild animals allowed in the library? Yes, when they're with Conservation Ambassadors! Formerly known as Wild Things, Conservation Ambassadors bring the zoo to you! Meet rescued wild animals from around the world face to face, and hear their amazing stories. All Ages.

Wednesday, August 1, 4:15pm Let's draw and paint! All ages and skill sets welcome. This month, we're focusing on perspective and using pens and India ink.

M-F, August 13-17, 9:30am Paint by numbers with the Junk Drawer Team. Plan to attend all five sessions to finish your painting. No experience needed. Bring your creativity, supplies are provided. Program held at the amphitheater. Class size is limited, so register today.

Not Quite Martha (GV)Tuesdays, August 14-28, 5pmThese crafts may not be as polished as a certain icon of all things handmade, but they're charming nonetheless. Join us each Tuesday afternoon in the main space at the Grass Valley Library to make your own cute creations.
