You’re invited to participate in DAR's Essay Contest. A $100 cash prize will be awarded to the student from each grade level who writes the best essay. Mindful Mondays: On Monday afternoons, attendees learn breathing exercises, utilize journal prompts, and develop self-awareness skills for when they are feeling stressed or anxious. With a new school year approaching, we will offer more days for students to join us. Stay tuned!

Art with the Armory Center for the Arts: The Armory Center for the Arts provided watercolor kits for students participating in our Tuesday classes. Kits included: watercolors; paint brush; glue; a magazine and paper.
Academic Assistance: Systems of equation and math fundamentals are reviewed and practiced.
Healthy Habits: Easy snack & drink recipes are made together online. Cooking at home increases family bonding and teaches students about responsible food handling.
