Farewell Miss Sadie, Welcome Miss Lela and Max
After many fond years of sharing stories, songs, and smiles, our beloved Children's Library Assistant, Miss Sadie, is retiring. Her warmth and creativity have touched countless young readers, and she will be deeply missed.

Stepping into the role is "Miss Lela" (known to adults as Lisa Griffin), a familiar face from our circulation desk. Her gentle nature, love of children's literature, and background as a children's book illustrator make her a wonderful fit for this special role. We’re excited to see the creativity and care she’ll bring to the children’s room.

Joining our team at the circulation desk is Maxwell Blanchette, a dedicated library professional with a strong background in public service and a passion for lifelong learning. Max brings a thoughtful, user-centered approach to his work, shaped by his experience supporting adult services in a busy public library. He’s committed to making the library a welcoming, accessible space for all and is excited to continue building meaningful connections within our community. We're thrilled to welcome him aboard!
