Raynham Reads: Community Quilt for Adults Saturday, April 18 1:00-3:00 @ the Senior Center Join us in celebrating America’s 250th! Come decorate a quilting square with fabric markers to be sewn together to make a community quilt commemorating this historic event. Period refreshments will be served. Raynham Reads for Kids: Squish Circuits Tuesday, April 14 6:30-7:30 Presented by Easton Children's Museum: with LED light bulbs and battery packs you'll be taught about circuitry (open/closed) and how electricity flows. Make the American flag or use your own design. Either way, you'll have fun learning about circuits! This is a Raynham Reads event sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Vernal Pools in Springtime Thursday, April 30 6:00-7:00 Join us for a visit from the Taunton River Watershed Alliance to learn about the coolest pools of them all: vernal pools! We'll learn how vernal pools provide important habitat for a plethora of creatures and how we can take action to protect these beautiful wetlands. Get ready for a ribbit-ing afternoon!

Join the Teen Advisory Group (TAG) Join TAG to volunteer at Library events and share your ideas about Library programs for teens. You can also use TAG meeting hours for your school’s community service requirement. Open to teens in grades 7 through 12.

Preschool Story Building with Big Ryan Wednesdays 10:30-11:30 Register for one or all five weeks! This parent/child workshop finds fun and exciting ways to explore literacy. Each week we dive into a different aspect of children’s literature, such as using voices and sound effects, using and creating puppets, the importance of memory exercises and digging into using wordless picture books. Every week is its own lesson while also building off of what was discussed during the prior weeks. This workshop is both fun and educational all in one.

Baby Free Play Fridays 10:30-11:30 Free play for babies 0-18 months and a caregiver. It's a great chance to socialize and make new friends.

Theater Games Saturday, April 11 10:30-11:30 Presented by Little Sparks Theater. Learn the basics of improv and get some energy out while doing it! This class is perfect for either the theater pro or newbie. We’ll explore the basics of improvisation and acting through high-energy games, so get ready for some antics, shenanigans, and a ridiculously fun time! This class promotes creativity, quick thinking, problem-solving, and confidence! Ages 9-11 This program is supported by a grant from the Raynham Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency.

Read to a Dog Saturday, April 18 Please register for a 15 min slot. New readers can practice by reading to Mabel, a therapy dog. This is great for reluctant readers or any kid who loves dogs. For kids ages 6-9. This is made possible by Dog B.O.N.E.S. Therapy Dogs of MA.

Baby Farm Animals Visit Thursday, April 23 or Please register for one slot. Hands-on experience meeting baby farm animals. Children can hold, cuddle and love any of the baby animals . These animals are hand raised which provides us with the sweetest, most lovable farm babies. Children of all ages are welcome to attend.
