Shreve Memorial Library is celebrating Computer Science Education Week (CSEdWeek), December 8 through December 12, with innovative programs for children and teens. CSEdWeek is an annual call to action to inspire K - 12 students to learn computer science, advocate for equity in computer science education, and celebrate the contributions of students, teachers, and partners to the field. This year's CSEdWeek theme is "CS Powers AI Innovation." As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes our world, a deep understanding of computer science fundamentals isn't just an advantage - it's essential. Children and teens will be able to learn more about computer science, learn how to code, and get an introduction to the world of AI with an Hour of AI (formerly an Hour of Code).
