The Thread Collectors Named 2025 SML One Book One Parish Title

Shreve Memorial Library asked, and patrons voted The Thread Collectors: A Novel by Shaunna J. Edwards and Alyson Richman as the 2025 One Book One Parish title winner. Each year, Shreve Memorial Library's One Book One Parish campaign unites Caddo Parish readers by promoting one book throughout the month of October, encouraging a parish-wide book discussion of the selected title.

Patrons were given an opportunity to choose one of four titles to be named this year's One Book One Parish winner. In a narrow victory, The Thread Collectors received 85 votes to win the title of One Book One Parish, beating out Glory Be by Danielle Arceneaux (77 votes), You Ought to Do a Story About Me by Ted Jackson (59 votes), and You Are My Sunshine by Robert Mann (55 votes) for the honor.
