As always, we have a lot going on at the East End this month! You can find the full calendar here, but here are a few special shout outs for some of the biggest programs: BUSINESS BASICS with Xaveria Hansom: This course prepares you to identify your purpose, be about your passion, create a solid foundation, set smart goals, and fulfill the necessary requirements to legally do business in the State of VA. I have paperwork on hand and it is ALL free! Together we will create a customized plan, that will train you on how to rise above challenges and make them work for you, enabling you to co-create a life and career based off of the things you love, but most importantly were created to do. Monday November 4 and Saturday November 9. WHAT MAKES IT WORK? Ever open up a vacuum cleaner to see what makes it work? How about an alarm clock? A toaster? Join us for a brand new program where we will tinker, explore, and see if we can take it apart... and put it back together! Laptop innards in November! All Ages, November 22. In addition to our adult and family programming, Children's Librarian Heather Hobgood has been creating wonderful programs for kids of all ages! Whether they are newborn or 18, she has created a great slate of programs that will appeal to everyone. You can also catch her at local events and in the local schools, as we expand our partnership with RPS in the East End. Here are just a few of the latest programs we'll have for kids in the month of November: - HANDPRINT TURKEYS: Make a decoration for Thanksgiving! November 25.
- ROCK PAINTING:Rock art is a widely known and very historical pastime. Come join us as we design our own rocks... Materials will be provided. November 21.
