Redesigned Website Launched! Our website team has been working since February to create an improved website for you. We launched November 15 and hope you've had a chance to use the site. We've expanded the Kids and Services sections and will continue to add content to the site. We're working on a Teens section and a robust What's Happening section.
Richmond Public Library Foundation
You love Richmond Public Library. The library is the place you visit to take a class, enjoy a concert and art, attend a community meeting, use a computer, and check out books. Did you know the library has a foundation that raises money to support the library? The City of Richmond provides funding for buildings, staff, and basic books and materials, but it is not enough to cover extras that move the Library forward. The Richmond Public Library Foundation is the non-profit established to support the library by seeking private donations and corporate gifts to ensure there is money for educational programs, new technology, special events, and children’s activities. We need your support - would you consider make a donation today? Just click “donate!” Or call the foundation at 804-646-5511 or email Karin.hansen@richmondgov.com. All gifts to the Richmond Public Library Foundation are tax deductible as allowed by law. Thank you for supporting your library!
