Natalie Draper, Hull Street Branch Librarian, has put together a fascinating monthly author series the second Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. Explore books on social justice and local history written by local authors. On May 8, Joy Harris will share her book Singing Ain't Enough: the Inspiring Story of Maggie Ingram. Books are available at the library now or for purchase at the event; light refreshments are served.
Self-checkout and e-Payment
Some of our branches have self-checkout stations installed - if your branch library doesn't yet have self-checkout, it will by mid-May. We are also installing credit cart readers so you can pay fines, should you have any, at the self-check stations. And watch for our launch of the online payment option by the end of May. We hope that these added conveniences make your library visits even more enjoyable.
