January 2026

Happy New Year from Your Library!

We’re thrilled to open 2026 with gratitude for our amazing community—and with an invitation! Join us for our New Year’s Open House on Friday, January 2, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Stop in for treats, resolutions, a time capsule, photo op, and music from DJ Mr. Ed.

All of your favorite programs and clubs are returning just as you love them, with one small change: we’ll have only one Line Dancing class this month. Otherwise, your calendar can stay as full and fun as ever!

For families, don’t miss our Kid's Craft Carnival on Saturday, January 17 at 10:30 AM—a kid-friendly morning packed with creativity, color, and hands-on activities.

And here’s a little teaser for February…
Our Winter Reading Program is coming February 1–28, and it’s bringing TWO special events: a Pinewood Derby and a Tiny Art Show! Beginning Jan. 12, you may register and pick up free Derby Cars and/or Tiny Canvases at the front desk (one per person, while supplies last).
  • Tiny Canvases are due back February 6th, and we’ll celebrate your miniature masterpieces at the Tiny Art Show on February 18th.
  • Derby Cars can roll in on February 11th for race day excitement.
Both events require registration starting Jan. 12, so be sure to sign up early!
We can’t wait to kick off a joyful, creative, curiosity-filled year with you. Here’s to great reads, great friends, and great fun at your library in 2026! 🎉📚
