Little Turtle’s Kiawah Island Journey (ages 4 and up) Saturday, April 27 at 9:15 a.m. Do you love turtles? Join us for a special storytime as authors Deanna Cochran and Patty Wolford share their book, "Little Turtle's Kiawah Island Journey," followed by a fun turtle-themed activity. This is a beautifully illustrated story of a little turtle hatchling who makes a wrong turn, and on her adventurous journey home, she meets Snowy Egret and other coastal animals. Best suited for ages 4 and up with an adult.

Read with a Therapy Dog Saturday, April 27 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Build confidence in reading by practicing with a STAR therapy dog. Many studies show that reading skills can often be improved by reading aloud to a therapy dog, an audience that is nonjudgmental. Space may be limited.

Saturday, April 27 from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Come celebrate Thai culture with us and learn about the rich tradition surrounding the Songkran Festival. Our festival will include food, a craft, and outdoor water activities. We suggest bringing a change of clothes as this festival includes water balloons and water sprays.
