Cookies, Cocoa, & Community
Wednesday, December 10 
from 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Join us for a festive holiday gathering filled with sweet treats, games, giveaways, and crafts for all ages, including an old Christmas card exchange! Bring unused cards from past years and swap them for something new.

Need help with your laptop, phone, or tablet? Drop in to explore our "tech toy box" or get assistance from a Tech Team Member. First come, first served. Additional appointments may be required.
Create with Canva
Thursday, December 8 at 2 p.m.
Join us to use Canva to create holiday cards! We'll go over a template and print out a card for you to take home. Mouse and keyboard experience required, participants will need to create a Canva account.

Limitless Learning (L2) for CCSD Students 
L2 Student Library Access
Thanks to a continued partnership between the Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) and Charleston County School District (CCSD), Charleston County students have been automatically registered for a free L2 (L Squared) account.
 
L Squared gives students the ability to borrow books, movies, and other items from any of our library locations around Charleston County. The account also gives students access to digitally borrow materials that are available for downloading or streaming online including ebooks, movies and music. In addition, you can connect to more than 100 subscription databases for free.

VolunTeen Applications Open!
Need service hours for school? Interested in library services? Want to gain workplace experience? Apply to volunteer with us! The application is open from 12/7-1/10 at ccpl.org/teens. Applications may close early if we reach our maximum number of applicants, so get yours in early!
Video Game Day

Spending and Budgeting Your Paycheck

Teens and their caregivers are invited to learn how to create a budget, read their paycheck, and understand their taxes with a representative from Pinnacle Financial.
Silent Library

STAR Therapy Dogs

Read to a therapy dog. Certified dogs and their handlers love listening to stories!
Homeschool Craft Circle
Friday, December 12 at 10 a.m.
Bring a personal project to work on and enjoy the company of fellow crafters. Geared to tweens/teens ages 9 and up; siblings welcome!
Winter Sensory Fun

Stop into the Community Room for some "cool" winter-themed sensory activities! Caregiver supervision is encouraged. Geared to children ages 3 and up.
Holiday Movie Hour

Come enjoy a seasonal treat and craft as we watch two holiday favorites, Prep & Landing (G) and Prep & Landing Naughty vs. Nice (G).
Yoga for Kids

Yoga for Kids blends playful activities, storytelling, and yoga poses. A selection of yoga mats is available for use on a first come, first served basis.
