Holiday Season is near, and we have lots for you to do at the library! From book clubs for all ages to ornament making and garden club, we have activities for everyone to enjoy. Read below to learn about our holiday toy drive in partnership with the Old Village Community Association!

Donate unused toys at the library!
You can help spread joy and love this holiday season by donating new, unwrapped toys for underserved children in the community. Drop off gifts in the donation box at Village Library from December 1st - December 17th! We are looking for items for children ages 4 to 14. Please do not donate clothes or perishable items.

Pizza and Taco: Who's the Best?: (A Graphic Novel) by Stephen Shaskan
Family Book Club
Monday, Dec. 1 at 3 p.m.
Explore the graphic novel series Pizza and Taco, a great introduction to the graphic novel format for beginner readers!
Around the Table Book Club
Wednesday, Dec. 3 at 11 a.m.
Bring a list of your favorite holiday reads and we will showcase some cozy winter books in our catalog. 
Ornament Making with Miss Lindsey
Monday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m.
Kids and families can stop by the library after school to make an ornament craft just in time for the holidays!
Village Garden Club
Monday, Dec. 15 at 1 p.m.
At this month's garden club meeting, we will make tea bags with dried herbs and discuss more ways to prepare our gardens for the winter season.
STEAM (After) School: Zoob Builderz
Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m.
Kids can engineer structures and different objects with these unique builder pieces. Primarily designed for children 6 and up due to the size and complexity of the blocks.
 
Storytime Schedule
Tummy Time (ages 0-2)
Fridays, Dec. 5, 12, and 19 from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Engage infants and babies in assisted tummy time activities before Storytime! Local experts will occasionally be present to give advice and resources related to family planning and care.
 
Baby Storytime (ages 0-2)
Fridays, Dec. 5, 12, and 19 at 11 a.m.
Join us every Friday at Village Library for Baby Storytime. We will read books, sing songs, and participate in early literacy activities for children two years old and under!
 
Family Storytime (ages 0-5)
Thursdays, Dec. 4, 11, and 18 at 10 a.m.
Family Storytime occurs every Thursday and targets ages 0-5. During this Storytime, we read books, sing songs, and engage families in different learning activities related to literacy with a craft at the end.
