Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. Kids are invited to bring their bikes or scooters and their helmets to learn about bike safety from MUSC representatives and then practice on a course. This event is designed for ages 5 to 10 years old. All participants will be required to sign a waiver. Please meet us at the pickleball courts at the Miriam Brown Center in the Old Village for this event!

Local beekeepers Tara Martin and William Brenner will join us for an educational program about bees and honey. We will have a honey tasting experience, crafts, and activities for the whole family!

Adults are welcomed into the library to listen to a presentation by Clemson Extension Master Gardener John Ringness on which herbs are the best to grow at your home.

Monday, May 5 at 3:30 p.m. This hands-on class uses actual animals to teach students to identify the characteristics of cold-blooded animals and the adaptations of reptiles. There is a focus on comparing and contrasting various types of reptiles in relation to their natural South Carolina habitat.

S.T.E.A.M. Saturday: Optical IllusionsSaturday, May 17 at 10:45 a.m. Join us at the library for a Saturday Science Experiment. We will be conducting experiments that will create optical illusions to trick our brains! Best suited for ages four and up.

Baby Storytime (ages 0-2) Every Friday at 11 a.m. Join us every Friday at Village Library for Baby Storytime. We will read books, sing songs, and do different activities for children two years old and under! Toddler Storytime (ages 2-3) Every Thursday at 10 a.m. Toddler Storytime is geared towards ages two to three years old. Together we will sing songs, read books, and engage early literacy skills! A craft or activity will be available at the end.
