Boston Bruins PJ Drive Massachusetts Libraries have teamed up with the Boston Bruins to help collect over 13,000 pairs of new Pajamas for Massachusetts kids in need. Drop off new kids pajamas at the library all February long. Watch those clearance sales! Friends Puzzle Sale: Saturday February 15 from 10am - 2pm this HUGE puzzle sale will be held in the Town Hall Meeting room directly across from the library. The sale will continue Tuesday February 18 - Saturday February 22 during regular library hours in the library conference room. On Saturday Febraury 22 there will a bag sale from 10am - 2pm - we provide the bag you fill it with what's left in he conference room for just$5. Holiday Hours: Closed Monday, Febraury 17 for President's Day.

In honor of Dru Proctor and Arthur McLaughlin The family of Dru Proctor, long time administrative assistant to the Board of Selectmen, and her partner Arthur McLaughlin has decided to honor them both with a generous donation to the library to thank the Town Hall employees, the Plainville Fire Department and the Plainville Police Department for all of thier help, kind words and deeds and loving shared memories immediately after Dru's passing. Dru was an avid reader and library supporter. With this donation the library was able to purchase 2 new benches for area in front of the circulation desk for people to browse our new books in comfort or a place for kids to wait while thier parents are checking out. The Library was also able to purchase 37 new items for the collection. The adult titles in book, large print and audio formats are all Dru's favorite genre, mysteries. The children's titles range from easy readers and picture books to graphic novels. Please enjoy these new additions to our collection as noted by the nameplate placed inside each item.
