Happy New Year! Friends of the Library Tote Bags The Friends of the Library are now selling great, strong canvas totebags for just $10. With navy handles and just the right size to never be too heavy to carry full of books. Borrow Reading Glasses How many times have you been out and realized you forgot your reading glasses? We have you covered. The Library now has Reading Glasses to borrow at the front desk while you are at the library. So you can always read the book description on the back or the comptuer monitor. Adult Programs Nearby If you don't mind a little travel down Route 106 or Route 1A feel free to attend these great adult programs at libraries close to Plainville. Your SAILS Library card is good in all these libraries and they offer these programs for everyone free of charge. Check out the page here And just a heads up - start searching those clearance racks for warm kids pajamas to buy on sale. The Plainville Library will once again be a drop off for the Boston Bruins Pajama Drive in February. And for every pair you donate you will earn a raffle ticket for an autographed Wimpy Kid Book by Jeff Kinney and the game: Pictionary Junior. The Plainville Public Library will be closed on Monday, January 1 and 15 for the Holidays.
