Pumpkin Decorating ContestCan you decorate a pumpkin as your favorite book character? Enter your character pumpkin at the Plainville Library by October 14. Please do not cut your pumpkin. Be creative! Ideas on our Pinterest Page Everyone will have the chance to vote with a canned good. All canned goods will be donated to the Plainville Food Pantry - so Vote as often as you like! Voting takes place Monday Octboer 16 - 28. The pumpkin with the most votes will win 4 free Showcase Movie Tickets (a $54 value) And you can bring it home on October 30, just in time for Halloween Night. Scanning Party!

@ Library comptuers with Historical Commission
Bring up to 10 pictures of Plainville people, places and events and we scan them into our Digital History Collection. Your memories will be saved for all to enjoy and the Historical Commission will get a copy to keep, as well. Show some Plainville Pride and stop by for some Pizza and chit chat about the history of Plainville. If you would like a digital copy of the photographs you bring, please bring a flash drive with you. We can even do slides and 35 mil or 110 negatives now.
