We use rich books with engaging stories to explore our theme and we always involve music and movement as well as a craft or activity to extend the learning beyond the circle. Infant and Toddler Story Time Tuesdays at 10:30 am Children's Room Bring your infants and toddlers to our story time! We will explore Nursery Rhymes together through reading, repetition and recall as we build familiarity, understanding and confidence with language. Every week we utilize music and movement as well,as we pair each rhyme to a song and explore simple instruments too. Dates for Infant and Toddler story times for summer are: August 6, 13.

Creativebug offers high quality instructional videos for art and crafting. There are over 1 thousand classes available, for all levels of art and craft abilities, all taught by professionals and new classes are added daily! On Crativebug you will find instructional videos for drawing, painting, sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, baking and much more. You will also have access to downloadable patterns, templates and recipes! Soon you will see the access to Creativebug right on our web page and will use the Plainville Library Card you already have.
