1. Go to Plainvillepubliclibrary.org, there you will see options across the top of the page
2. Place your cursor over the Children's Room option and a drop down menu will appear
3. From that drop down menu you should click on
Blizzard of Books

This program has an optional app for your phone if you find that would be more convenient for you to keep current with logging you minutes!

*******************************************
This program is still happening and we would LOVE to have more participants!

It is our hope to reach out to as many neighbors as we can, to help everyone who needs to feel a little more connection to our community, especially when times seem to be getting even more difficult to engage in social activities.

If you would like, we would be happy to place some empty art sheets in bags on the pick up cart for families to take as they need - just please contact us, by phone or email, and we will make these available for you to "Grab and Go" from the contactless pick up cart by the front doors!

Czech-American artist, MacArthur Fellow, and Andersen Award winner Peter Sís dramatizes Winton's story in this distinctive anddeeply personal picture book. He intertwines Nicky's efforts with the story of one of the children he saved-a young girl named Vera, whose family enlisted Nicky's aid when the Germans occupied their country. As the war passes and Vera grows up, she must find balance in her dual identities-one her birthright, the other her choice. Nicky & Vera is a masterful tribute to a humble man's courageous efforts to protect Europe's most vulnerable, and a timely portrayal of the hopes and fears of those forced to leave their homes and create new lives"
